I haven't run this much in my life but lately I've been pushing at least 3, maybe 5 or 6 miles per run with a goal of increasing mileage each week for the next month or so.  I'm trying to train for a half marathon. There's one coming up in late November--which is about 4 weeks away.  But if I don't make that one, there's a few more early next year.  And a half marathon is my next goal.
